Privacy

In short: this site has no forms, no analytics cookies and no follow-up contact. When you call, your call connects to an independent contractor and may be recorded or routed by a call-tracking provider. Effective November 6, 2026.

1. Who we are

This policy covers the website draincleaningriverside.us and the call-in referral service it offers, operated by Drain Cleaning Riverside CA ("we", "us"). We connect callers in Riverside, California with independent local drain-cleaning contractors. We do not perform drain cleaning, plumbing or repair work. This policy is effective November 6, 2026.

2. Information collected through the website

The website has no contact forms, account sign-ups, newsletters or chat, and we do not ask for your name, email address or street address on the site. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, referring page and time of access, in server logs used for security, troubleshooting and reliability.

Cookies and analytics: no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies are currently enabled on this site, and we do not use pixels or social media trackers. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before those tools are switched on, and it will describe what they collect and how to opt out.

3. Information involved in a phone call

When you call the number shown on this site, calls may be recorded or routed by a call-tracking provider. That provider connects your call to an independent local drain contractor, who speaks with you on that call. The provider may record call details such as the calling number, the number dialled, the date, time and duration of the call, and the general area the call came from. Where a call is recorded, you will be told at the start of the call, and you can choose to hang up.

During the call you may tell the contractor things such as your address and a description of your drain problem. You choose what to share.

4. How information is used

We use server logs and call details to operate and secure the website, to route calls to a contractor, to confirm that calls were connected, to account between businesses for connected calls, to resolve disputes or complaints, and to meet legal obligations. We do not use any of this information for marketing, profiling or advertising.

5. Call-in only: no follow-up contact

This service works only through calls you place. We do not make outbound calls, send texts or send emails to callers, and calling does not give us or anyone else consent to contact you for marketing. We do not pass your details to anyone so that they can contact you later. Anything you and the contractor arrange is agreed between the two of you during the call.

6. The contractor you speak with

Contractors are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. Information you give a contractor during the call, or later if you choose to hire them, is handled under that contractor's own privacy practices, which we do not control. Ask the contractor how they handle your information if it matters to you.

7. Sharing and no selling

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined in California law. We have not done so in the past 12 months. We disclose information only to service providers that help run the site and route calls (such as our hosting provider and call-tracking provider), under contracts limiting their use of it, and where required by law, for example in response to a valid subpoena or court order, or to protect safety.

8. Retention

Server logs and call details are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including security, accounting between businesses, dispute resolution and legal obligations, and are then deleted or de-identified. Call recordings, where made, are kept for a limited period for quality and dispute purposes and then deleted.

9. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you the following rights about personal information we hold about you [1]:

Right to know: what categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties it was disclosed to. Right to delete: deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions. Right to correct: correction of inaccurate personal information. Right to opt out of sale or sharing: we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you may still make the request. Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger this right. Right to non-discrimination: you will not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.

Categories collected in the past 12 months: identifiers (such as a calling phone number and IP address); internet or network activity (server log data); approximate geolocation derived from an area code or IP address; and audio information, where a call is recorded. Sources: you, your device and our call-tracking and hosting providers. Purposes: those listed in section 4.

How to make a request: call the number on this site and say at the start that you are making a privacy request. We will verify your request in a reasonable way, for example by matching the phone number and approximate time of your call, and respond within 45 days, extended where the law allows. An authorised agent may make a request for you with your written permission. We treat Global Privacy Control browser signals as a valid opt-out of sale or sharing. You may also contact the California Privacy Protection Agency [2].

California's Shine the Light law (Civil Code section 1798.83) lets residents ask about disclosures to third parties for their direct marketing. We make no such disclosures.

10. Children

This site is intended for adults responsible for homes and businesses. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has called and shared personal information, call the site number and we will delete what we can identify.

11. Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures, such as encrypted (HTTPS) connections and access controls at our providers, are used to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and that limitation applies to this site too.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed, and material changes will be described on this page before they take effect where practical.

14. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, call the number shown on this site and say at the start of the call that it is a privacy request. The contact page explains what to expect when you call. Operator: Drain Cleaning Riverside CA.
